How to create a Paypal unsubscribe button

While working on Access Facebook I looked for an easy way to let users cancel their Paypal subscriptions automatically.

All I wanted was a button like this, which I saw on many other sites.

Paypal’s help is such a mess, it took me hours to find it. So in case anyone needs it here it is.

Log in to your account and click on My Account ->Profile -> My Saved Buttons.

Next to your button click on Action ->Edit , scroll down and click on Save Changes.

Just below the button code there is a link that says “Create an unsubscribe button”

Paypal definately has excellent tools. It is their User Interface that sucks!

If you find an easier way to do it, please let me know.

You are right about paypal help being a mess as well as the logic of how their site is organized. This was a big help thanks.

Thank you so much for this information. Initially when I created my subcribe button I saw the unsubscribe button. Then I went back to create the unsubscribe button I could no longer find the code or where I had saw it originally.

I spent hours looking for it in paypal’s help files. Thanks for creating these instructions.

Just as Jackie above, I had once saved the button but couldn’t find my way back to the code… Thanks for the tip, greatly appreciated!
